Top 5 dream designer handbags

As a woman you usually have one of three diseases 1 The shoe fever (dangerous because it can really get out of hand with the amount of options available) 2 The bag plague ( this diseases is most dangerous because of how expensive this particular items can be) also there have been found serious cases of individuals showing signs of both these wallet torturing diseases . I for one chose to belive I only show signs of disease nr 2 although there have been periods of time when I have briefly caught the Shoe fever as well . But this post is all about bags so let’s get to it.

WARNING : Subjects who have shown signs of The Bag Plague in the past this post might bring bag the symptoms.

Chanel 2.55 Maxi (5.200$)

If I were to choose one high-end designer bag to pour all my savings into , it would for sure be this one. It is the epitome of classic elegance but I can still see it with so many different outfits from the most casual white V neck and jeans to a ball gown to the Opera .

chanel 255

  • Called 2.55 after the date of creation, February 1955.
  • There is a zippered compartment at the inside of the front flap. That is where Chanel is rumoured to have stored her love letters in her original bag.

Hermes Birkin Bag (7.400-150.000$)

The mack-daddy of all handbags this celebrity favorite has a price tag to match the hype that surrounds it. It is a great example of a stylish version of a tote bag and the array of colours and finishes that it comes in makes it appealing so many women , that and the exclusivity it offers.

  • Named after actress and singer Jane Birkin
  • Hermès offers a “spa treatment” – a reconditioning for overly used bags.
  • Each bag is hand-sewn, buffed, painted, and polished, taking several days to finish.

Louis Vuitton Alma PM ( 2.160$)

As far as designer handbags goes I am not a big fan of Louis Vuitton, it might be controversial but I think that they are not very subtle and I also feel like every teenager with a malleable daddy owns a Speedy or later on a Neverfull with the famous LV print just to make sure that everyone knows it is a Louis. Here I am talking about subtilty and I chose a patent leather aubergine  embossed Louis bag , but ever since seeing it on Made in Chelsea (don`t judge me ok) I have been obsessed with it , it just looks so luxurious.

YSL Cassandre Lisse Large shoulder bag (2.650$)

A newer design is this beauty from YSL , it is reminiscent of the Chanel 2.55 , at least in my eyes but half the price. I think that it is a beautiful clastic bag that still has a little something that makes it appropriate for a young audience.

Valentino rockstud flap shoulder bag

The amazing studded Valentino heals have been everywhere for the past year and I love how they incorporated the same idea into their bags with a simple design that is enhanced by the studs. What may surprise you is that what really makes me love it is the color , it might intimidate most women and I agree that when investing in an expensive bag you should chose something that you love and know will get your moneys worth out of . Having said all that I think that I really would wear it a lot since I practically live in black and white this is the perfect end touch that would complete my outfit and make me pop.

What bags would you include in your top please let me know !

  1. God I love all of these! I definitely am one of the ones who is obsessed with both shoes and bags. This can definitely be a curse and a blessing. 🙂

    1. Actually the Michael Kors Selma bag was really close to making the cut I really love the range of colors it comes in and also as far as designer handbags goes it really has a more realistical price point.
