After a month filled with studying, exams and some more studying, I am finally back. And todays posts will be all about the products that have made January a bit more bearable.
Starting off with skin care this Kiehl`s Epidermal Re-Texturizing Micro Dermabrasion (41$) has been my holly grail scrub for a few years now. My main skin concern in the winter is the texture of my skin, so scrubs are a very important part of my skin care routine, but this one is so much more than your regular scrub. If you want to know more about it I will link my skin care routine here.
My next pick is a sad one for me since it means that I have yet again become too pale for the lightest shade of Born This Way, Too Faced make. The Body Shop Shade Adjusting Drops (20$) are a really awesome invention in my opinion since you can keep one foundation and just adjust from the drops your perfect shade every time. I also did a review on this one which I will link here.
Last but not least my favorite new discovery is the Essence Make Me Brow (2.99$) tinted brow gel. Cheep as chips and almost an exact dupe for the Benefit Gimme Brow.
For my style favorite this month I chose a really good basic. A good white shirt that fits you like a glove is a must in any womans wardrobe. Mine is a Tommy Hilfiger shirt with a classic fit that is a bit on the looser side. It has really been my go to this month with all the exams and presentations.
For winding down in the evening my go to has been the classic The West Wing. Even though I am not american I have always been interested in the structure of the american government.
Garance Doré if you have an interest in fashion I urge you to check out some of Garance`s videos especially her interviews.
I am a self-proclaimed planner addict, so as you can imagine the beginning of a new year is a very exciting time for me. The planner I chose this year is a very simple Moleskin Daily Planner, I `ve had it before and it`s a really good one.
Winter is the season for tea and my latest obsession is this Pukka Turmeric Gold tea. Not only is turmeric my latest superfood obsession but also this thing tastes amazing. I usually like to add some soy milk cinnamon and a tea spoon of sugar (I have even skipped the sugar lately since my soy milk is sweetened) trust me and give this a try, you really get a desert in a tea.
