August Moodboard 2017

August is upon us and if you too are freaking out about where 2017 has gone you are not alone my friend. My monthly moodboard series is designed to get me and maybe some of you, excited about all the awesome things the month coming up has to offer and usually august is pretty easy to get excited about since it`s my birthday month. This year though with finishing college reality is starting to hit and time is ticking a bit fast for me, so this post is so much needed. February 2016 MoodBoard

January didn`t really pan out the way I planed , but that`s life and I am very excited to get on with February. I really hope the weather warms up a bit and I can make this month as productive as I am hoping. I still have one exam in a couple of days, and I am done for the semester YAYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  As usual I am rambling too much in this introduction so let`s get into the actual post and share with you all the things that are getting me excited about February! January Favorites

Hey you , welcome back to another blog post and the end of another month. I usually try to make January as productive as possible but I have to admit this month was a bit of a fail in general. It all started at the beginning of the month when I got a pretty bad case of the stomach flu followed by 3 weeks of -20° C (or -4° F) and on top of I had all my finals. So this months favorites are super basic in the beauty department, the style ones are focused on warmth and I have a bunch of random favorites that have helped me keep sane and added a bit of relaxation into my month. Going lighter and the changes I made (haircare, makeup, fashion)

I used to be very scared of changing up my hair, I didn`t dye it and I kept it a simple medium length style . Lately though I`ve been experimenting a bit more, especially when it comes to color. I had a ombre since last spring but it was mostly gone since my hair grows quite quickly and I trim it regularly. This time I took the plunge and went for a balayage that starts a few inches from my roots. I am a true brunette so even though the highlighted parts aren`t that blond the change to my look has been quite severe. It did take some getting used to but I do love it and have no regrets . I also needed to learn to work with it from changing up my haircare routine to changing up my makeup and wardrobe .
